Surya Shanti was born from the friendship of three women – Ati from Bali, Pauline from the Philippines and Sylvie from France – and their passion for the traditional and beautiful Sidemen Valley.
With their family and native teams from the Valley, they receive you at home – eleven rooms, finely and individually decorated – to share a sincere experience of Balinese life in an ecological project of social inclusion with the village of Tabola-Sidemen.
Your senses and your mind will be awakened by experimenting with yoga sessions, rice field hikes, traditional cooking classes and therapeutic massages. Or, simply gaze from the edge of the two infinity pools a unique panorama over the rice paddies from the Bali sea on south to the majestic Mount Agung on north.
Or, discover with us in the village’s houses the local traditional craftsmanship as weaving songket, preparation of arak liquor, coconut oil, coffee.
Also, share the morning balinese prayers in the villa’s temple or meet the children of our Education and Cultural Foundation, Pasraman Vidya Giri created by Ibu Ati.
